What is Sustainable Living Week?

    Sustainable Living Week is a series of community events and activities celebrating practical ways to live more sustainably, centred around the Sustainable Living Expo on 20 September.

    What is the Lake Canobolas Bin Wrap Competition?

    The competition invited local students to design artwork for public bins at Lake Canobolas, helping encourage correct waste disposal while showcasing local creativity and the natural environment.

    How are the winning designs selected?

    Community voting will help determine the five finalist designs in each stage. A judging panel will then select a total of six winning designs, including both landfill and recycling bin designs, based on the competition criteria.

    When does voting close?

    Voting closes on 7 September.

    When will the winners be announced?

    The six winning designs will be announced at the Sustainable Living Expo on 20 September.

    Can I see the designs in person?

    Yes. All competition entries will be on display at the Sustainable Living Expo, giving the community an opportunity to view the artwork and celebrate the creativity of local students.

    Where will the winning designs be used?

    The winning designs will be transformed into bin wraps and installed on public bins around Lake Canobolas.
