Live and Local Venue Survey

The Live and Local program was held last month, aimed at boosting the local music industry by building expertise and connections between performers, venues and producers.

The campaign began with an industry forum, run by the Live Music Office, which offered the opportunity for anyone connected with live music to offer feedback about the industry. It was followed by a series of skill-building workshops and culminated in a weekend of live music at a variety of venues on the weekend of 23-25 September.

It was funded by $20,000 from the Australia Council for the Arts, through the Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS.
