Consultation has concluded



Council is seeking feedback from the community to understand whether a reduction in the speed limit on Pinnacle Road would be supported.

A Council meeting held on 2 April 2024 supported a motion proposed by Cr Steven Peterson to see whether the community would support lowering the speed limit on part or all of the length of Pinnacle Road, within the Orange LGA, to improve safety for cyclists and other road users.

The map below depicts the route. The green section is currently 50km, the blue is 80km and the red is 60km.

Speed limits are governed by Transport for NSW however the results of the survey will go back to Council in July for further discussion.

The survey will be open until 4pm on Thursday 4 July 2024.
