Consultation has concluded
Council is targeting a grant that would allow us to purchase an outdoor mobile trailer stage that could be used for Council and community events in the region.
Staging is usually one of the highest costs for running any event. The idea would be that Council could use this stage for our own events, but also make the stage available to other event organisers in the region.
This would allow for higher quality events to be delivered at a lower cost.
Initial pricing estimates indicate that the cost of hiring the stage would be:
Minimum hire fee - $1,500 (24 hours hire which includes labour to transport, set up and remove stage)
24 hour additional hire fee - $1,000
We are seeking input from event organisers in our region to ascertain how likely you would be to use one.
This survey will be open for just over 1-week and will close on at 9am on Tuesday 8 October 2024.
