Consultation has concluded
Orange City Council is asking the Orange community how they would like to see the Bloomfield Health Precinct developed.
The precinct is bordered by the new Sports & Parklands Precinct to the north, Huntley Road to the east, Bloomfield Road to the south, and Forest Road to the west. (see map)
The area includes a number of services including
• Orange Health Service
• Bloomfield Mental Health Service
• Sydney University School of Rural Health
• Ronald McDonald House
• Mission Australia's Benjamin Short Lodge
• Cancer Care Western Lodge
• The O'Brien Centre
• Orange Ex-Services Club's Country Club
Orange City Council has engaged consultants EY to prepare a business case to explore ways to unlock the precinct for future development, with a focus on protecting the heritage setting.
The Business Case Project is funded by the NSW Government’s Regional NSW Business Case and Strategy Development Fund.
The online survey (below) will be open for comment until 8 March 2024.
The business case is due to completed in March 2024.
