Consultation has concluded

Now is the time to think about training needs for 2019.

I am hoping you will help me with a short 6-question survey to assess your CHSP training and information needs. Responses are sought by close of business on Wednesday 13 February 2019. All responses received by this date will go into a draw to win two free registrations for staff from your organisation, at a 2019 CHSP non-accredited training program of your choice.

Over these past weeks in my role as CHSP Sector Support for the Central West Region, I have had the opportunity to meet some very passionate service providers across our regional area. This has certainly given me an appreciation of the diverse range of services offered under the CHSP and of the entrepreneurial ways that service providers are meeting the needs and choices for older people, living at home.

To help me ensure your training needs and linkages are being met, I am seeking your input into a short survey (only 6 questions) to identify current and emerging needs in regard to professional development and training; for you, your staff, colleagues and volunteers.

Through your input I would like to formulate a 2019 training schedule that is evidence-based and outcomes-focused, timely and also workable in regard to delivery locations across the Central West Region. Equipped with your input, I can then explore linkages with training providers and organisations to increase training and information sessions held in our region.

In addition to training topics, I would also value your input on any preferred facilitators, locations, formats and lengths of sessions; for example would you prefer short and sharp sessions combined with roundtable networking events, OR is a bi-monthly program of accredited Community Services training, something that appeals, OR a combination of both?

I look forward to your response.
