Consultation has concluded

The Orange Adventure Playground has been much loved by locals and visitors since it was built by the community in 2002 and has provided 20 years of enjoyment for the children, families and carers of the Orange region.

In recent years the timber playground has begun to show signs of deterioration and wear, and community demand for an upgraded regional play facility has increased. Council has engaged consultants Civille Pty Ltd to develop a new concept master plan for the playground.

We want to know what you love about the current playground and the wider park and what else you would like to see in the future. We will share your feedback with the consultants, who will take away what we've learnt and develop concept designs for a new playspace and park, which will then be brought back to you for further feedback.

We are also interested in how we can better connect the park with the surrounding destinations, such as the Botanic Gardens, Emmaville Cottage and the café and would love to hear your thoughts on this as well.

We look forward to hearing from you and working with you to create an exciting, inclusive and special place.

Below you can complete our survey or share your ideas by posting on the virtual 'ideas board'. You can also like and comment on other people's ideas.

Representatives from Civille Pty Ltd will be at the Adventure Playground from 10am to 2pm on Saturday 26 November to talk to playground users and members of the community.
