Cook Park Aviary

Council is asking the community for feedback on the future of the Cook Park Aviary.

We want to understand how people feel about the aviary, what it means to the community, and what you think should happen next.

As part of this process, an independent check of the aviary will also be carried out to look at animal welfare, the condition of the structure and what it takes to run it.

Your feedback, along with the findings of the review, will be included in a report to Council to help guide the final decision. Please submit your feedback by Sunday 26 July 2026.
