CONSTRUCTION : This was the scene in 1971 as work was about to get under way on the 'new' hospital building.
For many, the old Orange base hospital is an outdated building in need of demolition. For others it’s a place which hosted five decades of memories.
Some memories joyous, some memories triumphant, and some memories sad and difficult, but they are all important.
Here, Orange residents can share their stories of their loved ones and their experiences in the old ‘Base Hospital’. Whether it was witnessing the birth of a long-awaited baby, a diagnosis of the ‘all clear’ after a long battle, or the death of a loved one.
