Orange City Council's annual budget for the 2025/26 financial year is now on display for community comment.
Members of the community are invited to complete a survey, leave an online comment or make a formal submission.
Earlier this year, theCommunity Strategic Plan (CSP) 'Your Community, Your Plan' conversation compiled information about the hopes and dreams of Orange residents for our community.
All Councils across the state are required under the Local Government Act to deliver a range of long-term planning and financial management documents, in a process known as Independent Planning & Reporting (IP&R).
The CSP's engagement report has since been to Council and the draft CSP is also now on display for community comment.
In this next stage of the conversation, Orange City Council aims to check back with the community. It's important that we're as sure as we can be that what we heard is what you said.

Orange City Council is seeking comments from the community on its proposed budget for the coming 2025/26 financial year and the draft Community Strategic Plan (CSP).
You can make a formal submission or leave a comment on any part of the budget.
By using this short survey, you can also have your say on key items.
Your responses will be added to a report when the council considers any proposed changes before the final budget is adopted.
